For Day of Race registration only, follow these steps.

2. Sign the Waiver at the bottom of the form.
3. Take the completed form to the race along with $25 USD/ $30 CDN. (Exact change or check please)
4. Checks can be made out to GBRC.

RELEASE WAIVER AND INDEMNITY

I acknowledge that the Birch Bay Marathon and 25K race are an extreme test of my physical and mental limits and carries with it the potential for death, serious injury, and property loss. I certify that I am physically fit, have sufficiently trained for participation in this event, and have not been advised against participation by a qualified health professional. I acknowledge that the various race sponsors, organizers and administrators, permitting me to participate in this event, accept my statements on this release waiver. In consideration for allowing me to participate in this event, I hereby take the following action for executor's administrator's heirs next of kin successors assigns and myself:

a) I waive, release, and discharge from any and all claims for death, personal injury, property damage, theft or damages of any kind, which arise out of or relate to my participation in, or traveling to and from the Birch Bay Marathon or 25K, the following persons and entities: the City of Blaine, Whatcom County, Washington State Department of Parks and Recreation, Greater Bellingham Running Club, event sponsors, event directors, event producers, volunteers, all venues in which events or segments of events are held, and the officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents of any of the above;

b) I agree not to sue any of the persons or entities mentioned above for any of the claims or liabilities that I have waived, released or discharge herein; and

I indemnify and hold harmless the persons or entities mentioned above from any claims or liabilities assessed against them as a result of my actions during this event. I hereby affirm that I am nineteen (19) years of age or older. I have read this document, and I understand its contents.
