Honeywagon Runs 2008
The 26th annual Honeywagon Runs, held on Saturday, March 1, 2008, had 84 runners
in the 4 mile race and 34 runners in the 1/2 marathon and 3 runners in the 1/2
mile race for a total of 121 racers!
Although the weather in the preceding days was mostly sunny, on race day, the
weather was cool (40's/50's) and cloudy with intermittent rain and gusty wind
(especially out on the race course).
We'd like to thank the following entities for their donations of prizes, awards:
Fairhaven Runners, RunningShoes.Com, and Footworxs.
We'd also like to thank Johnson Team Realty (Muljat South) for allowing us free
use of a moving truck for hauling around race materials - and bending over
backwards to make sure we had a truck. THANK YOU!
