- 8/13/09

Cami Ostman and Bill Pech, Bellingham runners, have been on a mission to run a marathon on all seven continents. You can read reports and see pictures on www.7marathons7continents.blogspot.com.

With six marathons on six continents completed, their final task is running a marathon in Antactarca. In this case getting to the marathon may be harder than running it. Because the official Marathon scheduled for March 2010 has filled, they are looking at an alternative travel plan to take them to King George Island in Antarctica on March 18, 2010. They are looking for 5 more runners to fill the seats for the flight from Punta Arenas, Chile to Antarctica.

All of the details including the price can be found on their blog by following the link above. This could be the adventure that you've been waiting for. For any questions you can e-mail Cami at clostman@aol.com
