The GBRC holiday party and general membership meeting was held at the WECU meeting room on December 5, 2004. A great dinner and door prizes were followed by a short meeting. Len talked about the function of the board, club activities, and scholarships provided by GBRC. It as noted there are 685 members. The slate of officers for 2005 was voted on and accepted. 2005 officers are:
The race calendar for 2005 was reviewed. The Birch Bay Marathon on February 19 will be GBRC’s first marathon and a race director is needed. There are volunteers that will help at the event. Ask Tjalling for details.
The Honeywagon Runs have new directors: Kim Boon and Vicki Griffiths.
The Chuckanut Footrace will have Craig Bartlett and James Hayes co-directing for the last time. They have done a great job but want to pass the 2006 race on to someone else.
