A $500.00 running scholarship will be awarded by the Greater Bellingham Running Club
to one qualified senior male and female runner (two total recipients) from Whatcom
County High Schools. The awards are not based on need but on merit. It is intended for
college related expenses (i.e. tuition, room & board). The GBRC Scholarship Committee
will have sole responsibility for choosing the recipients. Completed applications must
be received by June 30, 2005.

why you would like to be considered for this scholarship.

How did you first become interested in running?
What importance has running played in your life?
5. Please provide the name of the college/university that you plan to attend.
6. Please provide evidence of your cumulative G.P.A.
7. Please submit three written recommendations. Sources may include coaches,
teachers, employers, etc.
